  1. I am a boomer and the music in the sixties had it's purpose. One was to convey messages of the political and social turmoil going on at the time. Secondly, psychedelic and acid rock were the tunes in order to make taking drugs like LSD a more pleasurable experience. I love the music of that time and to be honest, I really don't know one group from another these days.
